Bright Sparks Autotest

October 4th, 2009

The Bright Sparks Autotest is one of our fun club events designed for club members to have a go.  Usually run towards the backend of the season, October/November time, the event takes the form of an all forwards production car autotest.

Run at the Curborough sprint track the event follows normal autotest rules.  Courses are not as tight and twisty as a normal autotest, there may only be a couple of handbrake turns and no reversing.  A passenger must be carried  and cars are production based which doesn’t mean they have to be standard.

Competitors usually get to have three attempts at three courses.  Each course has a different character and they are often designed to have a few tricky bits to catch some drivers out.
