The roadbook has now been finalised (thanks Melvyn) and should not be missed. No use wishing you had done it afterwards. The 105 mile route will be split into four halves. Starting from Shrewsbury we traverse the Long Mynd to the morning tea halt at the Glider Station then it is back via the Stiperstones for petrol in Church Stretton followed by lunch at Acton Scott Working Farm.

From here we go via Delbury Hall (recently added), to the afternoon tea halt at Knowbury, near to Titterstone Clee Hill, then back to the Food Centre at Ludlow for sit down meal.

The route has two characteristics. The first half traverses roads previously used on MN and Goggin rallies with some twisty stuff  but stunning scenery. The second half is very relaxing, again with great scenery. Just one small ford!

Do not miss this run. It will not be repeated again in such a beautiful part of the country. Put your entry in now.

A provisional route has now been finalised using 100 miles of classic roads in Shropshire around Church Stretton and Ludlow.

The start will be at Dobbies Garden Centre on the A5 on the outskirts of Shrewsbury, followed by two halts, before finishing at a venue in the Ludlow area with a two course meal. The event will be a qualifying round of the HRCR Classic Scenic Run series and should therefore attract an entry of about 60 cars.

Make sure you put in your entry early as soon as regs are available, hopefully available in April or May. This run should not be missed (make a note of the date in your diaries) as it will include spectacular Shropshire scenery along with a couple of fords thrown in for good measure.

Bob Cotterell has selected the “best” roads available to make the event one to remember.

Further updates will follow in the New Year.
