Thanks to all competitors, marshals and officials for a great day yesterday (15/5/2022)
Great news, we have secured a super new venue for the above event. It is in the grounds of the Apley Estate near Shifnal (TF11 9ED) and is a non-damaging grassy site ideal for challenging sections in picturesque surroundings and easy access via a private drive.
The event will be rounds of the BTRDA and MOTORSPORT UK NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS.
Whilst this is a national event for the experienced competitors, there is also a CLUB CLASS for those who want to “have a go” with their road cars.
You can enter in any vehicle providing it is 2 wheel drive, road legal, mot’d, taxed, insured with standard road tyres and does not have a limited slip differential.
This should be a really super day out for new and experienced competitors alike. We will also require fifteen marshals for the event to run professionally so if you don’t fancy entering then please sign up as a marshal and enjoy the atmosphere of this entertaining event.
Here are the regs and entry forms for you to download and print, If you have any further questions then please don’t hesitate to contact Roger Tristram email@example.com (07798751125)
Our annual ‘Tony Matthews Classic Tour’ has had to be rescheduled for Sunday 17th July 2022.
This is due to an unfortunate date clash with the ‘Lotus in the Peak’ Charity Event which is in aid of ‘Rainbows Hospice for Children’.
The organisers ‘Midlands Lotus Owners Club’ are expecting in excess of 200 entrants and to have a second club in the Peak district on the same day could be disastrous to both clubs, members and PR.
If you have already entered our event and are happy with the date change then do nothing, but if this new date is now inconvenient please contact our entries secretary and she will arrange a refund.
The organisers are sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused.
Here are the modified regs and entry forms.

A huge thank you to our wonderful club members who provided cars and helped set up the stand on Thursday, then helped to look after the stand/cars on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Also thank you to everyone who stayed behind and helped to dismantle everything once it was all over on Sunday.
Thank you to the many visitors who called by to say hello and pass nice comments about our display, it makes all the hard work very worthwhile.
It was a real pleasure to be with you all for four days and thank you. Looking forward to the 2022 show where we will hopefully have a bigger stand.
